arrows just a little too stiff

my arrows are just a little too stiff, they group nicely but i cant get them to fly quite straight. we looked at the charts and the arrows are a bit stiff for my limbs at my drawlength. so i put the wieght up on my bow and it helped but still not perfect. would changing from a brass nock point to a dental floss one help?

yes, also dropping the number of strands in the string will also help.

I am a big fan of BCY's Nock tying thread. It's the stuff to use.

depending on how much "too stiff they are" As others say I reckon a light nock point, thinner string and a heaver point will sort them out. Make sure the brace hight is right too. If it's not optimum you will be losing a bit of zing out if the bow too.

Lighter fletches might help, you could try some Kurly vanes from Alternative Sporting Services.

thanks everyone

i have 1.5" vanes on them now, those are pretty light. i replaced the nock point, and i already made sure the brace hight was correct. so if this doesnt corect it, i will try heavier points. is there a certain weight of point that i should get? the arrows are 26.5" 1912's and at my draw length im holding about 33 pounds.

I bought some flouro green Curly vanes from Alternative, can't say I'm impressed. Poor quality compared to spin wings. Also the mounting tape is rubbish as is the black tape to finish them off too. The lot went in the bin, chalked them up to bad experience.
