Knocks

Hey guys,

I have just picked up some nice winex limbs and some a/c/e's.

At the moment I just have a fast flight string with a single brass knocking point.

Im looking at getting some beiter in/out nocks for my arrows as the g-nocks scare me. (I know there is nothing wrong with them, they scare me a little anyway)

Anyway I want to know if I can use the in/out knocks with a normal nocking point, as I havent tuned my new limbs yet and dont want to have to serve on a knocking point.

Also, which size is the right one to get? I assume this is todo with how many strands the string is, but im not sure.

Regards
Rob

The in/out nocks will be fine, just make sure you get the correct size for the string/serving your using.

I would then suggest you tune the bow using masking tape nocks until you get the correct height. Then replace them with dental floss or similar

this page on the beiter site will advise you which nock to use..

http://www.wernerbeiter.com/en/produ...nocksearch.php

once you have selected your nock, you then have to decide on a colour

I have (and do) use the beiter nocks with 'normal' brass nocking points without problems..

iirc, the #1 will suit fast flite/dacron up to about 16 strands + serving...but please don't hold me to that..your best bet is to try the nock on your string before buying...

Fit some other nocking points and performance will improve a little.
