You might just make it at 45lbs, I was just short with the sight at its lowest clearance point when shooting 40lbs with ACEs. Damn sight easier when you can aim direct - those clouds keep moving!

I have a spare clout mirror, plus here's some tips
Hi all Clout is my specialty, I have a few tips.

1. Use a Clout Mirror, you can aim right at the clout
2. Reduce bow mass weight (just use bare stab rods)
3. Before drawing push your hips toward the clout (relaxes side muscles)
4. Take up the string, aim, THEN draw (so you are not searching at full draw
5. Once you begin to draw, don't stop, slowly through the clicker in one go
6. Follow through and hold your position until you see land, then relax
7. learn what difference sight adjustments make, measure in feet not inches
8. Learn to feel the wind, think in terms of rings, and aim off to compensate

A clout mirror is a periscope you screw in place of your sight pin. It has a horizontal line and a couple of cross points to aim with. I have a spare for $15 quid. I can also supply a prism for 10 quid (but these may not be allowed over there)

Miles, you won't be able to make one for yourself cheaper than that. Trust me. I bought all the kit to make several, as it was the only way to get the stuff to make one. That cost me over £100... just haven't made any yet.
