I guess I'll get my arrows shortened enough to use the clicker...
Don't be too quick to chop your arrows down Mr.T, your draw length could still increase . Have a look on the thread "When to upgrade draw weight?". You'll see I've posted about clicker extension plates which fix on the front of the bow allowing the use of a normal blade-type clicker with arrows up to 2.5 inches longer than your draw to the button.
Once your draw's settled, you might want to trim your arrows to stiffen them to compensate for an increase in limb weight etc, so best left alone for now if you can, I would have thought...

Maybe Dave could set up something similar on AI ????
There's a rather under-used "Classified" section, hope this helps

slartibartfast - 14/6/2005 4:39 PM# Over on the saggi blackboard they have a "small market" section where you can buy and sell stuff, it might be worth asking the question "has anybody got"... Hope this helps.

Maybe Dave could set up something similar on AI ????

And while we're on the subject, i'm looking to buy either some A/C/C's (3-04, 680 spine), Navigators (610 spine), Cartel Triples (600 spine) or similar to suit a 34lb draw weight (soon to be increased)#at 29" from the#root of the nock to the end of the shaft. If anybody has any that they'd like to sell (at a reasonable price, of course) then please send me a PM !!!!

For those wanting triples some programs pick too weak shafts. A guy on sagi "Limbwalker" measured these spines, which I and a friend have backed up with experience.

Triple series#......Easton spine
300.....................420" (420)
400.....................540 (540)

700.....................680 (680)
800.....................735 (735)
900.....................840 (840)
1000...................900 (900)

Thanks, Barry. How do these comparisons relate to different arrows??#i.e.#I need 670 A/C/E's, 650 X10's, 610 Navs and 680 A/C/C's All would be comparable to one Triple spine rating, but which one???

Sorry to be a pain, but after our conversations, i'm probably gonna go for the Triples.

Ahh think i've sussed it ! the closest to all of these would be the 700 spine, am I right??

RE: Newbie: Is it worth using stiffer arrows?

Probably 700, or go for 600 with heavy point.
