| Extra lenses are (were) AUD$39 each... or around £15. Just something to bear in mind. Maybe Field Archer could be pursuaded to part with his...? ![]() |

| TJ Its nice that we can also touch our femine side and colour co-ordinate things. As you would only need the outer housing you could ask Leigh if he can supply one, at a reduced cost of course. |

| They don't magnify the target as they are FITA legal for recurves. One person at York has one, he tried to justify it by saying "It lets more light onto the lens and illuminates it better". Okay Michael. So, A pane of glass lets more light onto a lens than fresh air? What's the advantage of using these over a normal ring/pin setup? Because i'm strugging to see the point of them...surely when it rains the target gets obscured?

| Actually its not a lens its a piece of Hoya multi-coated optical glass and thus provides no magnification, hence totally legal with FITA. MikeD I had the same problem when I got my Beiter sight. I found that if I reduced the brightness of the dot by cutting the rod down it was no longer a problem. I have different length rods for different levels of brightness. |
