| I have used a top FDS for a while now and like it. But I recently put one on the bottom which I borrowed from a friend, for me it made the bow very nice to shot and it also improved the feel and balance. Thus a got one for the bottom and I now shoot with both. To be honest I would never have tried it unless I had access to another one to try free of charge. |

| So it does make a marked difference for you! Just feel or grouping and scores? What brand/type. Are they a matched pair? I have a Win&Win Fomax on the top limb. |

| Its has benefitted my groups but I think this is due to the bow being much better balanced, there is also virtually no vibration in the riser. I use Win & Win's Fomax Damping System for both top and bottom. I did try another type on the top when I started but I felt it made the bow far to top heavy. Funnily enough I let another archer try one today on the top of his riser and he could feel no difference, but then again he was not aware you had to tune a bow Well as allways with archery kit you have to find out what works for YOU. |

| My wife looked over my shoulder at the screen and thought this thread was Limp Dumpling. |

| The Quicks archery Win&Win Fomax Damping system, bolted into the lower riser insert, below the long rod. Why are the Sims Limbsavers fastened there. Ar'nt they supposed to go where the wood cores tapers to a point? |
| |||||
| Wingate My thoughts exactly, what a strange place to put limb savers. This is not what is recomended in the Sims instructions. |

| would probably get in the way of the striker label on the bottom limb.... oh noes! ![]()
