| Spigarelli Revolution - Don't know. Looks like too much to go wrong, so many other good risers, so I'd leave this one be. Seb Flute - Yes. Light, feels good in the hand. Looks good, shoots sweet. Winact - Yes. Light, feels good in the hand. Looks good, shoots sweet. Hoyt eclipse - No. Feels "cheap" somehow and I personally dislike the tec bridge. All IMHO of course... YMMV! |

| On the Revolution... one of my clubmates has recently had one the bolts holding the whole thing together shear. The bow has been back to either the supplier or manufacturer and it's still there after a month or two. I understand from chatting to joelondon who has one that this was common on the earlier models and that the later ones had this rectified. If I were in the market for a new riser now, I would consider one. They are nice looking bows, I wonder if the 3 part design allows the riser to act to some degree as a leaf spring. on the other bows... the SF seems to be very popular as do the limbs, being that it's not one of the big brands there is probably a good reason for this. I have a feeling that numpty has a Winact (might be a winstar), that his was thinking of selling...could save you a £ or two. On the subject of the evo.... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Win-Win-Evolut...QQcmdZViewItem T.

| I'd definitely go for the Winact out of those. The SF is apparently good but very noisy. The Eclipse feels a bit odd to me (perhaps because it's so light). The Spig -- well, you'll spend more time answering daft questions about the bow than actually shooting it. The Evo -- maybe £50. |

| One benefit of the WinAct over the SF is that the current WinActs have an anodised finish, so aren't prone to paint chips the way the SF riser would be.

| It's all a matter of opinion ultimately, but I've got an Eclipse and I love it. It feels nice in the hand, the grip is excellent, and doesnt feel too heavy to hold for long periods. I've got Samick Univ's on it, at about 36lbs on the fingers (29" draw) and everything about it feels right. When I bought it I was only able to compare against the Samick Agulla, and they were poles apart IMHO. Others dont seem to like the bridge part of the riser, but I think it adds some element of stability and backweight to the bow - as and when I eventually move onto a better bow, I'll definitely be looking at another Hoyt with the bridge, such as an Aerotec or Helix. It's in the right ballpark for your budget too - £140 for the riser, and about £170 for SF carbon limbs. |

| Probably the Eclipse because the grip is like my beloved Helix, although I'd also try the SF riser. As for limbs, I'd go for the smoothest at my draw length, but having a 31"+ draw that's very important for me. You'd be fine with a 24in draw on pretty much any limb. |
