Flat or Angled V-Bars

What are the advantages, disadvantages of flat and angled v-bars. While we are on this. what about the included angle, 70,80,90. Don't say set up to allow me to put it on the grond, and eliminate a bow stand.

I find angled V-bars tend to distribute the weight better, an AGF adjustable V-bar is great to experiment with, expensive though. It depends on how you like the bow to be balanced.

I've never found any real difference. I adjust balance with the extender position, short rod length and weight distribution rather than angle. I don't think it makes any real difference if you're flat or at 15 degrees (no doubt Joe T will come up with some cunning maths to tell me I'm wrong )

And... if you can use it as a bowstand, your extender's too short, or your short rods too long
