Arco Micro click button tip

Went shooting this afternoon without having changed the button setting which has been fine for the last few months . After 3 arrows the tip broke off the plunger shaft . Placed my spare in and exactly the same happened !!!
Has anyone else had similar issues with the brown standard plunger head and does anyone know of a supplier who would stock gold tips or similar for the Arco ?
