Smile Fastest string for recurve

I was thinking about getting a new string for my GM. What is the fastest string available to help getting my arrows to the hundred yard gold.
I just remembered someone suggesting String Flex 8125 16 strand. Does that sound right?. All input appreciated.

A well tuned bow with correctly matched arrows, good shooting form and a string (the non stretch type such as fastflight) which is right for your bow with the correct number of strands to keep the bow stable and safe.

I would personally say 16 strand is a lot for outdoors.

Tho I shoot an 18 strand string indoors, I'm using a 12 strand outdoor and have far mroe comfortable sightmarks.

Is there much noise from the 12 strand. How long will it last. I realize that it is far stronger than neccessary, but, wear and tear?

The 12 strand is VERY quiet.
It will last probably 2/3 months in heavy use, but thats about the length of time I *expect* a string to last.

angel dyneema is the fastest string. faster than 8125. get angel dyneema with majesty serving, 16 or 18 strand. you can get them from

www.hnlarchery.com

they make the best recurve strings. I shoot them and i have found none better for quality or speed. angel also doesnt require waxing.

I picked up an Angel Majesty string from www.hnlarchery.com - don't know if it's faster than my old fastflight strings (never measured the speed) but it certainly improved my sight marks.

according to the website, angel majesty is faster than fastflight, but angel Dyneema is faster than both. all 3 are great strings. cant go wrong with HNL strings.
