The Spigarelli site is a good option for the limbs...I think, with my non-existent Italian. But still need a new riser. The dutch site is really clear, but the only size second hand that fits is the same as he has now - 40lbs.
I went searching for N-Products and found a Japanese site www.a-rchery.com/abox/recurve.htm, and my Google translation is hysterical. Limbs become "rim" and risers are "steering wheels"! The current currency conversion would be around £500 for the limbs or £800 for limbs plus an X-Factor. No idea what the import would be on top, and they don't have long limbs. Japanese people tend not to be 6'5" gorrillas, I suppose. I haven't found a site for N-Products themselves. Any ideas?
As they are all international fit the big guy's still going to need a riser. There is a very (very) nice man at Perris who is prepared to post us his own Sirius on loan. With no limbs, as 70" aren't available, we have a couple of options, either go out and simply buy a set of Winnex, or G3s, or trek over to Border or Chiltern's place in Fife to play with their stuff, taking the Sirius with us. That will probably be the best option, as he can try different limbs and risers and get the combination right.

The problem is utter guilt at wasting everyone's time if he doesn't like it.

Well, the Nishi is now in a box in the wardrobe...and Him Indoors is out in the pouring rain getting sightmarks for this Sunday's York. I persuaded him to go the 3 hours over to Border, where he shot a few things, and eventually came home with a set of TXGs at 34lbs, and a Cyclone. We had a tour of the factory and really enjoyed ourselves. I think he was impressed. He's lost a little on his sightmarks - bearing in mind he's drawing a couple of pounds less, he compares the Nishi with his ACCs to the Border with his Cartel Triples, but they tune easily, and the bow is so quiet it is really deceptive.
I think I've spent some money too...but I've got to wait until Christmas.
