| as far as I know, the eclipse is magnesium, the helix is alloy. The magnesium riser is easier and quicker to make by forging, whereas the alloy riser has to be machined. They will feel a bit different while shooting due to the different materials. Chris

| Eclipse looks like you could buy it direct from a Fisher Price/Chad Valley factory shop. It'll feel different - i've not got my paws on one yet but i'd be interested to compare.

| All of the above are correct. However, becasue of the different materials and methods used to make them, they DO feel different to shoot. The Helix is much stiffer than the Eclipse. |

| Another difference is that the Eclipse doesn't have any limb alignment adjustment -- not necessarily a bad thing, but it's one tuning option less. I've shot an Eclipse and found it very nice indeed, but a bit light in the hand for my liking. Seriously good value for money, though. |
