| RE: FIrst Scores If you were shooting on a 122 cm face, this is not bad. I might even say this is really very good for someone who started 3 weeks ago archery !! Keep on ! |

| RE: FIrst Scores GNAS produce a set of tables which enable you to assess 'how good' with any arrows/distance combination; someone in your club will have one. Assuming a 122cm face and (has to be) metric scoring then the 555/6 doz is equivalent to a handicap of 43 or Classification 'First Class'. Brilliant for only three weeks! Well done.

| RE: FIrst Scores Just think of it that if you're scoring 555 off 6 dozen then you are averaging over 7 per arrow. That means you are keeping almost everything in the red or better. At any distance after 3 weeks, you should be justifiably proud. Rather than worry too much about total scores per round, I set myself targets based on an average per arrow and end totals at each distance. I find it easier to keep track of whether I am improving or whatever this way. I get immediate feedback when I collect on whether it was a good end or bad end. On this basis I can easily work out what I should be shooting as a distance and round total, and also know at any point whether I'm likely to achieve my personal target or not. |

| RE: FIrst Scores Does anyone know where you can get the handicap tables from? I've seen some hardcopies around the club, but I was hoping to be able to download something... Dave |

| RE: FIrst Scores Copyright for the Handicap Tables is held by David Lane not GNAS (major ####-up) so even GNAS cannot put them on their website. 'Fraid you have fork out the money and purchase a set from GNAS/retailer.
