| WPC, My wife (Morning) has found that a tight fitting top over a sports bra seems to be the most comfortable thing for her. Most larger women will find the the material on a sports bra offers more protection than a chesh guard and is better fitting. A tight top will not catch on the string so should not be an issue. Now, us men with big man boobs definately need to wwear one, otherwise I get a sore spot at the contact location. Sponge. |

| Thanks for all the opinions on this topic. At the moment my clothing isnt interfering with my shooting or getting in the way of the string. However, as has been said before, once I start shooting regularly the day I injur myself will be the day I dont wear the guard so think I will definitely get one. Also, as someone else rightly said, wearing a chest guard means that the string is always coming into contact with the same fabric, the same cannot be said of wearing the same clothes every time you shoot.

| Don't underestimate the impact of clothing interference might have on your groups... if I shoot without a chest guard, my groups are affected significantly even though i'm not aware of any interference. I'd suggest borrowing a chestguard for an evening and seeing what it does.

| Custom Made Chest Guard My wife has been told that there is someone who makes custom made chest guards to cater for the differences in ladies shapes compared to what a standard chest guard can cope with. Does anyone know of anyone who makes custom chest guards and what the contact details are |

| Well Old Bloke makes a chest guard that is more suited to a lady's figure.... Have a look at his website ![]() ~Jenny~

| Ladies breasts are tender and if you do not wear some form of guard you will end up with a red mark on the skin of your breast caused by the constance pulling of the bow string to that point of the body. That mark will stay there all you life---so wear one for your own sake. Johnr |
