| I realised I was having some pain when I switched to my angel tab! I was also 'flicking' some of my arrows out to the right when shooting, it turned out my problem was trying to release with the string perched on my finger tips(shallow hook). I was given a master class by David Hunter on how to use my tab correctly using a deep hook and the design of the tab - my grouping improved and I haven't had any pain in my wrist since! Just my penny worth ![]()

| Although not a doctor, this can be a sign that you are hooking your hand inwards, rather than having the back of the hand flush with the wrist and fore arm. |

| Sitting here, wrist strapped up, having only shot two doz yesterday. My pain is actually in the centre of the joint. I will let you know if I find the cause, but I will also be following this thread with interest. Luckily, I can use a mouse right handed but typing isn't great. Sponge. |

I do find it a little hard using the mouse the day after, since I regulalrly use the mouse right handed.. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

| I am right handed / bow in left hand etc. As I say, I was advised to use the deep hook to stop the flicking out of some arrows - it has done the trick - and no sore wrist!! ![]()

| It's worth noting that too deep a hook can also cause string wrist pains - we have first hand experience of this Basically, it can put too much strain on the tendon that controls the ring and little fingers. You need the right amount of hook - not too deep or shallow. |
