Set a date for buying my first bow
Finally, I've taken a day off work to spend at Quicks testing out bits with the aim of getting a whole setup. September 14th, is afte our club champs, but before Green Park

My initial budget's around £450, to get me everything except a bag, can't wait!

Now I've got an incentive to do well this sunday, shooting my first windsor, gonna really try to get as close to a 3rd class score as possible I'll be happy with a 5/6 average per arrow I'm practicing 60 again tonight to try and get a little tighter on my height, as my horizontal was ok last time

Well, I'm gonna try out at least 2 different risers, to see what I like best.

The two definites are a Winstar II and a Hoyt Eclipse. Obviously I don't want to go nuts on everything right away, as most things will feel like they differ by very little to me at this stage. Others to be considered? No GM please! A winact might come into play at the biggest of stretches.

As for the limbs, first set will most likely be challengers, 28-30 lb. 26 is beginning to feel like a rubber band to me atm!

I am also thinking about splashing about 100 notes on a shibuya sight, but not sure if that's absolutely necessary.

Gonna get some cheap platinums too, as I'll give em to my club when I move up, and I shoot fine with those at themo, especially as I'm only just up to 60 yards.

Platinums make good linecutters for the indoor season I regret selling mine.
