| 66" or 68" Dear archers! I am asked by a friend for advice. He wants to buy a new bow. He has arrow length 26,4 ". To choose the bow 66" or 68"? I suppose that 68" should be smoother, although the length of the arrow is in the region of 66". I suppose that until 27" arrow length is 66" bow, or? | Both should work well enough. The 68" will be slower possibly but less risk of pinching the fingers. If your friend develops a longer draw later on he may need longer arrows and a longer bow to match. |

| It doesn't really make a great deal of difference. The charts recommend 66", but a 68" bow won't be much slower, with modern limbs. From a practical point of view, it's usually easier to find or resell 68" limbs as they are more 'average'. |
