Question Upgrading riser

Well, i have a Hoyt GM for about 15 years, and i'm sick of it, só i'm thinking on changign it. I don't have a big budget, so the Hoyt Eclipse should be the choice. But i was thinking...will worth to wayt some more months, and buy a Samick Masters or a W&W NX XPert? Does they worth the (huge) price difference?

friend at our club recently got an eclipse and previosly shot on a GM, he is very happy with his new bow just wishes it was adanised rather than painted. i recently upgraded to a helix and could not be happier i just love the bow. thought about the eclipse and shot both it and the helix, in the end went for the helix, becaus im a big archery tart,,,,,,
seriously though i found the helix to have a better balance than the eclipse.
and it appealed to me a lot more, unless your a seriously expert archer i dont think you will see much of a diff between the eclipse and some of the more expensive risers out there.

if you go with the korean risers..samick or win & win...they do NOT have a provision for backweights...mite not be important for some but it's a nice option to have.

Just go out and try as many as you can before handing over any cash then you will be able to decide the best one for you. You never know it might be your GM. My 11 year old whitehart (25+ year old design) is as fast and as accurate as anything outhere at the moment and it is quite satisfying to shoot something that other people think is tatty, tired and worn out. Especially when they see the results sheet.

It won't make that much difference to your score but it will to your pocket.
