Help - Broken Nock

I have just split a nock on one of my XX75 platinum pluses. I have warmed it up and pulled it out.
But - I can't match it with any of the nocks on the Chiltern or Quicks web sites. It looks quite like an Easton G nock but how can I find out for sure and be certain of the size?

Second question - how do I warm it up to re-glue it - hot water or a blow torch both seem to have disadvantages - will a hair dryer work?

more than like lyits a easton g nock..
you dont need to warm them up to set them in the arrow just push them in and they will be fine, some folks glue them but not really a good idea as you may wish to rotate them a bit after refletching or some such.
personaly i love breaking nocks means my groups are getting tighter.

G-Nocks come in two sizes large and small depending on the serving/string size. As for glueing them in I have never found they needed it. I just push them into the unibush and adjust rotation if required, thats it.

The large G nocks have a thin raised edge on the outside of the nock usually used to line up with #### vane.

Total length small approx 18mm long, large 29mm long

Spot on

XX75 Platinum Plus

Now with a factory installed UNI bushing system which offers more consistent nock alignment and simple replacement as well as improved accuracy.

Straighter than the old model. Tolerance of +/- .002" and straight to 1%

Versatile, all-season arrow.

Easton XX75 Platinum Plus Spines:
Easton XX75 Platinum Plus shafts are available in the following spines; 1416, 1516, 1616, 1713, 1716, 1813, 1816, 1913, 1916, 2013, 2016, 2114, 2115, 2213, 2314 and 2315. (Easton also list 2413 but our suppliers do not keep this size as it is outside the FITA regulations.)

General Information:

All XX75 Platinum Plus shafts between 1416 and 1916 inclusive are factory fitted with standard sized Uni-Bushings. ACE G Nocks are designed to fit into these sizes.
All XX75 Platinum Plus shafts between 2013 and 2413 inclusive are factory fitted with Super Uni-Bushings. 3-D Super Nocks are designed to fit into these sizes.

Wow - what a mine of information. That's just what I needed -the order has gone in and I'll try replacing tham without glue.

By the way rohenwto, where did the General Information you quote come from? (I couldn't find it myself on Easton's web site.)

Thank you all

Tim
