Adjustable arrow rest

I've just bought some ACCs on EBAY and now wonder what to do about my arrow rest. It is set up to put the centre of a 1916 X7 at the centre of the button. The ACCs will be low on the button (different button).

Will this matter, assuming the centre shot is correct using a different button?

Is there an adjustable rest I could use?

I'm hoping to continue shooting outdoors at weekends whenever I can and shooting indoors during the week.

RE: Adjustable arrow rest

I shoot my ACC's and Jazz 1916's off the same rest and button combination without any adverse affects.

If the rest had been set up for the ACC's at centre of button, then 1916's may fly off the top of the button.

I'm set up the same as you Mike, 1916's centred.

RE: Adjustable arrow rest

Me too - 1916s and ACE 670s off the same rest (guaranteed skinnier than your ACCs )

RE: Adjustable arrow rest

You could worse than getting a magnetic arrow rest. They do not wear out, they can be altered to fit any size arrow from "Broomsticks" to "Knitting needles). They are not too expensive, & will save money in the long run. I use Spigarelli on both recurve & compound so does my good lady.

RE: Adjustable arrow rest

Went back indoors about a fortnight ago after changing just about every aspect of my kit through the summer - riser, limbs, rest, button, sight, arrows.....you name it - and wondered after a couple of sessions what would happen if i put away my ACCs and tried my 'old' 2214 X7 ebay specials, without altering anything. Best groups I've ever had and a personal best Portsmouth!!
The only thing I shall be altering, other than the arrows (cant get the sight marks/distance with the 2214s), between indoor and out is the sight!

RE: Adjustable arrow rest

OK I know that a compound archer would not normally reply to this but I have flipper rests on both my compounds and I dont bother to change the height for fatter arrows.
