One eye or two?

I sight and shoot with my left eye closed as it is dominant, if I forget to shut it or close my right eye - my arrows go for a scenic trip!!

Clicky dont you follow the clay and lead off? with both eyes the pin isnt too important as the barrels give the line? it works for me

I've only done it once just to try it and that was during a downpour, so it's hard to say exactly what I was doing. I did what I was told and I smoked 'em, so I must've been doing something right.

Both open it improves brightness and adds depth. I heard from the rumour factory that if you close one eye you loose over 50% of brightness so its extra dark. Also, I have never seen Korean who closes one eye. Actually, I have never seen a good archer who closes one eye, some almost close but none actually closed. Is it just me?

The Indian chap who choked on his last arrow when he came close to beating Park Kyung Mo in Athens closes his left eye, quite late in the shot routine as I recall. I can't remember his name, and nor can I think of any other top archers that close their off eye.

I found the difficulty with changing to 2 eyes was that I saw 2 targets, couldn't work out which one to aim at. The trick is to focus on the target rather than the sight ring/pin; I do it right from when I start to pre draw. If that doesn't help try blinking the eye you usually close, with a bit of practice it starts to become easier and more effective than 1 eye
