I don't mean to bash here, just inform. I managed to magnify the limb split and take a photo of it. The paint chip is about 1/4 inch long, just to give you a reference. I'm about to send these back to Alt. I'll let people know what happens with this.

Another set of Flute limbs with a problem.

A guy at our club recently bought a set of these limbs and though not broken he has a distinct line running horizontally across the width of the top limb about 5" up from the detent housing, looks very much like an extra sheet of carbon has been bonded on, or just a fault with the carbon cloth, perhaps just cosmetic as limbs seem to draw and shoot OK, was also concerned about the structure of the foam core on the limb edges, seamed very inconsistent in for want of a better word "grain" perhaps could be described as a crystal like in areas and then went smooth in others.

Well, I just got word back from Alt. The limbs were warrantied by SF, and are now on their way here.

Looks like the problem was taken care of for us. No problems.
