Question Hoyt Helix

Any one notice a reduction i noise from their old riser to their Helix? Mine has gone up 4lb from me Exfeel and 2" longer but is alot quieter with less doinkers.

Yes definitely. Quieter than my Axis or Aerotec too. The Riser shox is responsible for a bit of that and "flex tuning" of the riser - whatever that means

I can shoot my Helix with full ACE stabs, no doinkers, 45lb FD with X10s and it isn't loud by any means. (G3, Extreme or Winex limbs)

Although I do use a longrod damper and a top damper too at the moment but that is becuase I'm shooting the bow at tiller setting that is not the quietest.

Im running 10" ace sides with 1 weight on each and beiter 30" with 2 weights and HMC extender 5" with 44lb Winnex and its quieter than me Exfeel with 40lb Synerzy, 6" ace extender with 30" ace longrod with 2 weights on floppy doinker and 10" sides with doinkers and 2 weights and a top doinker with 2 weights. The riser defonatly absorbes alot more shock and noise.

Indeed! I always found the Exfeel a bit brick like but some people loved it. But if you want rid of that 6" Easton Extender I could us a spare

Yep,quietest and most vibration free riser I have ever shot. The guy next to me at the Pentangle shoot this year couldn't get over how quiet it was.

Mine isn't *that* quiet.

But if I put full Beiter stabilisers on it then the noise is embarrassing - way to soft and sweet
