| The rest you are using will give metal to metal contact and that, plus the "slack" in the system, aggravates any tendency to squeak. Sometimes a slight change in the angle of the connecting block(the part you bolt to the bow) will cure the squeaks. Or changing the angle of the arm itself;closer to the riser if that is an option. New Archery flipper rest11 comes with a plastic sleeve over its wire arm. If you could fit one (or similar) that would help.A wrap of plastic tape round the wire also works but tends to need replacing every so often. |

| You can get small diameter teflon flexible pipe which is perfect for this (cavalier actually supply there rests with it). I like my squeak though , Kae. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Electricians heat shrink sleeving would work as well... But I'm still betting it just needs a clean ![]()

| a friend of mine has a squeaky bow, and uses a hoyt super-pro rest, so in his case it is definately the clicker of the button (i think button, we both have the shibuya DX as well!). I have another intersting noise. When i'm at full draw, just as the clicker begins to slide down the point of the arrow, there is a rattling sound......

| *shrugs* I've used it in the past... worked for me. perhaps it's do with the brand you use (or you just use too much heat ). As always - YMMV!
