| String Colour / Picture After moving indoors I have noticed my string is difficult to see in relation to the sight pin. The colour string I have is black, can anyone suggest a good string colour to use for low light conditions. |

| What colour is your riser? I've got a reddish riser, and a mix of dayglo green and yellow stands out OK in most light... not perfect, though.

| I have found the same problem with a black fashflight string so got hold of a white string to try. Will find out how good it works on the next club night. Mark |

| Andrew, the part of the string that is seen in the string picture is a piece that is less than a few inches long. Rather than change a whole string, stick some coloured tape over the part that can be seen. Try different colours and see which works best. Or try masking tape and colour it differently each time, till you find what you need. It can be removed when you go back outdoors. There may be some problem when you shoot at competitions so eventually you will need to tape and colour the whole of the upper part of the string.(I think) |

| Competition environment is the main problem. When it is an indoor club practise night my black string seems to be OK, but then our lighting levels are OK. However, at indoor competitions the light levels can be very different. Is there optically a colour that works best, as it is a bit difficult to change kit at a tournament? |

| I had exactly the same problem as I shoot a black string outside. Solution is easy just go to white, works perfectly |

| Hi Andrew, I used the wrong words about problems in competitions. If you put a coloured section on your string( one that showed up well) it would have to cover the whole of the upper section, I believe. That is, from the centre serving up to the top serving. If you just had a coloured section, let's say three inches long, at eye level, it could be seen by a judge as a reference mark for elevation and it would have to be removed. I think I'm right on that rule; there should be no identifiable markings on the string inside the visible section.I think the centre serving has to stop at or below nose level so it can't be extended up to eye level and used as a peep equivalent. |

| I use a light blue string. |

| I find yellow string works well for me both indoors and out.
