winact or XP10?

Searched on this but most threads seem quite old on the topic - mainly because one of the limbs is no longer in production now I guess , but...

Winact or Border XP10 Evolution

Both get very good reviews here on the site - but times change as do opinions and yet to see these two 'face off' as it were.

Which would YOU go for?

That is asking how much draw weight I could/should increase when moving to a better quality limb.

This is asking which of two limbs is better.

These were intended as different questions, although your right, I do seem to be getting limb choice advice on that other thread.

But I really would like to know basically is the XP10 a decent limb today ?
I know it was good back then - but if were to be buying a new set now would you consider it?
Winacts are my other option as get good feedback.
And yes Seb Flutes - but there is just something about them I dont like....like a bad vibe!

XP10 without a doubt.
They can easily compete with anything on todays market!

Am I biased? Yes!
But the results speak for themselves, they were, and will continue to be, an excellent limb!

I believe the winact limbs were a W&W, Cartel sty-lee attempt of Border archery's wood core XP10, following a visit by Mr Park to Border's workshops prior to W&W launching themselves into the limb making game, so performance wise there should be little between the two sets of limbs, quality that's a different kettle of swimmy things.

Tried a bunch of limbs - in the end I went with 38lb Border Premier Carbons - not heard f them so an older limb I guess - but they are so smooth I was acually grinning while drawing back and they are really quick and give a lovely positive feel to the shot.

Well chuffed!

I believe referred to as the EP line of limbs, top quality and can shoot scores beyond our capabilities, a friend has had some since '98 and they are still performing exceptionally well
