My wraps have arrived! They look awsome. I will have to post some pics of em once I have them on a couple shafts. If anyone is interested in these just give me a PM and I can have them ordered for you. Oh and dont forget you can have any design youwant. My pic was pulled off Ebay.

OK, ignorant ferret here. I take it that wraps are wrapped round the arrow, mainly for protection of the carbon. Do you wrap them in front of the fletch, or under the fletch? What sort of thickness are they - do they really not affect performance? Are they easy to apply? Pros and cons? Anything else about them?

well I know alot of top archers use them. Mike Peart used em to great effect and completely blew me out of the water at the essex field champs. They dont seem to affect the arrow with any noticable effects.

They wrap around the shaft as close to the nock as possble and you fletch onto them. They are used to protect the shaft from glue/fletching tape and wearing of the carbon. The company I got mine from Socx actuall have the fltching lines drawn on so it also eliminates the need to mark you fletching lines. Also they alow for better shaft visability and the target and also from the shooting line. For visability the Illuminous ones work best.

I will post pics of each stage of the process as soon as I have them. I should have one or 2 done tonight.

PS I have also had Numbers printed on and also my AIUK User name. They reaaly can do what ever you want. I would really recomend. They work out 1 euro per wrap and with x10's I have 36 wraps. Not bad.
