1. re quoting myself - I've been shooting the Aluminium bolts and dowels in my Axis since I think 2001, maybe 2002 - shot loads of arrows off it at draw weights between 44 and 47lb. No problems. Have never adjusted the bow weight while strung. No visible stress marks. Always hoyt limbs (mainly FX some C+, some G3.
2. The Helix has a lifetime warranty in first ownership. Keep your receipt safe. Don't buy one secondhand without considering the warranty value.
