I have a low and a medium loesch grip...........

If I was shooting (which I'm not at the moment 'cause of an injured shoulder ) I would be using the low grip.

Yeah but as I think the Helix factory grip is too low, which I would say is med-low, I think a low Loesch will definitely no fit.

Currently shooting a heavily sanded then rebuilt plastic grip. Profile is similar to a Avalon grip. Narrower throat though.

Cheers

New Portsmouth PB with high dodotec grip

All this talk of grips, and my buddy's 'ulra-elite-mega-hoyt-cant-miss extremely comfy grip' made me decide to alter my own grip (it's been 12 months after all) .I always fancied trying a high grip but could never find one and have contented myself with a narrow medium one. So... as it's the indoors and I'm bored already, I worked on the grip for most of yesterday (in between jobs) building it up and they paring it down (I used a 2part that was soft to cut)

I shot it last night and I was getting a really 'connected' feel but without the side effects I experienced in previous putty attempts. I put 10 points on my pb bringing it to 575 and can't wait until friday to have another go.

Looks like it's worthwhile trying different grips even if you're reasonably happy. my grip now looks like a dodo's head and that's exactly what I'm going to paint it to look like (dodotec) once I've made a fully permanent 'plastic padding' one .

I'll only really know if it's a permanent improvement after a month or so, but I've been trying to break the 70 for over a year so it may be that this new grip may have helped raise my interest level as I don't enjoy shooting indoors as much as outdoors

Time will tell
