| I have a set of Samick Univ's and my son has some KAP Evo 2 limbs on his bow. If the challengers are anything like the Evo's then I'd opt for the Samick. They're nicely made, and look of a higher quality than the KAP limbs. I've been shooting mine since about March, and I think they're ok for an entry level limb. I'm upgrading to some carbon/foam limbs soon, so I might be selling my Samicks in the very near future, if you're interested? (68 inch, 34lbs) I'm off to test some this weekend actually, so if I buy them I'll be selling mine.

| Samick Universals are good and i currently have a set of 26# limbs for sale if that is anywhere near your poundage. Although i have no experience of KAP Challenger craft limbs i know that win&win stiker limbs are quite good |

| I shoot Challenger Craft limbs (branded Win&Win rather than KAP, so a few years old) on my indoor bow. They're very good indeed. Not quite as smooth as my G3s, but they don't stack and they have a really nice after-shot feel. |

| The challengers are better limbs than the evo2's. That said, I've only used W&W badged ones...but the construction is the same. I've owned both, and have until recently shot 36# challengers, prior to this I had 32# challengers. Neither of these pairs were the Challenger Carbons, but the Craft (wood/glass). Though not the fastest limbs available, were more than adequate for my needs, allowing me to shoot well (ish - but it's me, not the limbs), up to 60yds. They are quite stable and not overly noisy. There are better archers than myself shooting the Challenger wood limbs ( that's just in the few that I know personally). T.

| Thanks all for your comments. I'm looking to move up to 40lbs (from 36) but, since I need to replace the riser too, the budget is somewhat tight!

| Challenger Craft limbs are excellent value for money, but I do know of a number of archers who've experienced breakages with these limbs, including a junior in my club. Not that it's likely to be a problem, but you should probably check them regularly for splits or cracks. |

| Same as most here challenger craft limbs are great value for money and if you look after them, you will get a bit of cash back when you move on to a higher poundage/higher spec limbs. Well worth the cash ![]()

| why do you need to change the riser? i'd change the limbs first and think about riser later. i *think* the riser affects stiffness of the limbs, how the bow sits in hand etc etc, but i don't think it affects how the limbs "feel". essentially, the riser keeps the limbs apart.
