Archery holidays

Hiya all
not really used to this forum malarkey, but I would like any info from yous guys re. archery holidays. Not the sort where you go to an activity centre and "do" archery for half a day, in between abseiling and white water rafting, but a proper week's coaching with good quality instruction. I thought GNAS did a "personal development" week, but haven't found anything on their website (tho I haven't checked the mag yet). I've got to book hols off of work for next year, and would like feedback from anyone who's been on any course and how they found it, worth the money, what they got out of it in terms of improved shooting, etc.
thanks and good shooting tomorrow morning
Sheila P

GNAS hold weekend courses in April and October and a full week's course in July.

I did the week long course with rohenwto. Excellent course, the coaches take you apart and rebuild from basics depending on your faults as captured and analysed on video. It's just like starting all-over again.

If it's a variety of shooting with a friendly mixture of bow types and abilities I would suggest you have a go at Skye week (2days FITA 2days Field and clout on the Isle of Skye ) it's a fair distance for you to travel though.

There's no formal coaching but a practice field is available all day every day and even if your archery doesn't improve you're sure to make new friends

We only managed the FITAs this year but will be attending everything next year
