delamination of winex limbs

was putting my bow together to day for routine post match cleaning, waxing of string and general check when i noticed that the top limb of my winex's was starting to delaminate.
im just totaly heart broken.. i love them limbs...
got them from brother about 4 months ago and they were/are just great.
there is no chance that i can afford a new pair as im an impoverished student.. and any money i did have i blew on the helix.
well have emailed win and win and am praying that they will replace them.
otherwise im totaly buggerd. intervarsisty season has just started and we got team gold yesterday and the next comp is on the 9th of december.
Im so down in the dumps
well, worst case sinario will just have to sell a kidney.. promise my first born etc..

Reckless, contact Win&Win. My Winex delaminated thistime last year, I bought them from a well known archery shop in the Cannock area. They were not interested in helping , possibly because they would not benifit from any effort involved in trying to replace them. I contacted W&W who were very helpful, they sent me replacement limbs within a week.

So rather than fulfil their obligations to you as a customer they decided to incur your bad will instead.

I never understand retailers who behave in this way. It's like they think customers never speak to each other

Would anyone be surprised if I said that I haven't bought anything from them since.

Nice to have met you yesterday John, good luck in your quest for a local club.

Can you tell us how old the limbs are? 4 months with you but how long with your brother? I'm sure the other Winex lovers are dying to know.

If W&W don't sort you out you might want to forget about warranty and look into the rules around "Not suitable for the purpose for which it was sold". Easily arguable that a bow limb should last longer than 2 years (for example). Of course persuing such a claim would probably need to go to the dealer or distributor maybe.

Of course you'll need some help from your brother on that (he'll almost certainly need to persue the claim) and probably the original receipt or CC statement or bank statement etc.

Worst comes to the worst - I'm sure you can borrow something. I have some FX and C+ limbs in 38# 70" that look like sh*t but shoot great

Good luck

Stretch
