How on earth would your club have got on in 1990's? Almost everyone shot beeman all-carbon arrows.

If you cannot find an arrow with a metal detector, then a bent hook on a broom handle makes a good arrow finder. You just drag it through the grass (carefully ) and you should snag the arrow. Just be prepared to stop when you feel resistance.

Yeah, its odd. It never seems too hard to find the arrows anyway. If you miss the target, the arrows are normally fairly easy to find because you can sort of work out where they should land. The radar thing sounds interesting (and expensive), how does it work? Our ground starts off level then slopes down hill a little bit, would it still work?

Carbon is a conductor and will there fore reflect a radar signal even though carbon is non megnetic. I was wondering if any one knows of a rig that would be available because it would seem to be the answer as it would detect both ally and carbon arrows.
