Trousers which are still needed have proved difficult as white jeans didn't make much of an appearance in shops this year so painters trousers proved more popular with us. .......
Does your club sell the t shirt to members on request or is the cost being offset by an increase in membership fee and the shirt included in the price ?
Good quality white trousers (not jeans, though, so doubling their usage at 70's nights aint on) can be found at Bowls suppliers, or try looking for Emshorn (or is it Emsmorn?) on the net. If they can fit me - vast waist, tiny legs - they can fit anyone.

OUr club shirts are simply ordered from a supplier when demand justifies it. We get a small discount on orders of over £100.

RE: Club Colours

a variety of white and even bottle green trousers can be found for reasonable prices at industrial clothing suppliers e.g

http://www.arco.co.uk

look under "food industry clothing" for white and "casual workwear" for green (bottle)

RE: Club Colours

The GNAS justifies its "green and white" rule by saying that it makes the shooting line look smart. Trouble is, when I look down the shooting line at the combat pants, action trousers and workwear, the last word that springs to mind is "smart". I'd dress much more smartly if they'd let me wear black or dark blue kegs.

Oh poor Liss!. What is it with your family and hospitals, Dave? Send them when you have time and no sooner. Hmmm...it might be quicker to come and collect them.

The GNAS justifies its "green and white" rule by saying that it makes the shooting line look smart. I'd dress much more smartly if they'd let me wear black or dark blue kegs.
The green action trousers available from ARCO (link above) are exactly the same as those sold in Quicks - only much cheaper! Not combats but practical, smart shooting kit.
If I remember the GNAS take on this, don't they rule out combats anyway?
