RE: Club Colours I like club colours. Our club has registered them this year, and when our order comes through, I think we will all look very smart. They can give a club a sense of identity in a sport which is primarily an individual rather than team one. (Also, I wouldn't be surprised if some younger club members felt a bit silly all in white, and club colours probably make them feel a bit less so!) If you register them before the end of August, they will be valid to wear from 1st October next year and onwards. (I'd advise registering them as soon as they are chosen as otherwise it gets put off and then sent in on the day in a panic... )

RE: Club Colours Bizarrely, our club registered several colours. Where I've seen a club's members all wearing the same colour it looks pretty impressive. I hope we end up with one, possibly scarlet... Pete

RE: Club Colours ... so guess which one Pete bought. I like club colours, and I am sure they will evolve once more people are seen in them. But i also think a line of white-clad archers is something special. It's the green, and the difficulty of matching a shade, that has given problems in the past.

RE: Club Colours I hate white, especially pants. Always get covered in mud, dirt and wax from my bottom cam. I tend to wear black pants with a blue/white club top or a bow company top. I also have a green/yellow grid iron top with my club's name on it I wear to shoots. With the right colours a club uniform can look excellent without going to white. We even are relaxed on the wearing of jeans, looks quite good with our uniform.

RE: Club Colours Registered our colours in August (Navy with sand collar ont he polo shirts). The advantage is not worring about colour match although white t shirts are easy to get. Trousers which are still needed have proved difficult as white jeans didn't make much of an appearance in shops this year so painters trousers proved more popular with us. Sweatshirts... easier to get in the club colours but the bit I dont like is the price difference. We are getting our polo shirts for £13 and with places like Primark or Peacocks selling white polos for 3 or 4 quid its a big difference. Does your club sell the t shirt to members on request or is the cost being offset by an increase in membership fee and the shirt included in the price ?

RE: Club Colours Not sure who you are asking Our club sells our shirts to the members and also include their name on the back (or nickname) and sponsors on the right front side (as shown in teh picture for the 2 archers) Archers can buy as many as they wish.
