| Have I read on the Angel website that Angel Majesty does not need waxing? or am I getting confused, cause I cant see it now. Off topic a bit but, does any one still use beeswax,or is there a reason not to use beeswax on the newer string materials? And lastly, are you suposed to wax the servings? John. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

| See - I had had somebody tell me not to wax it, but I was really unhappy with leaving it (especially with the noticeable speed difference), I waxed it like normal but it didn't seem to make any difference whatsoever to the performance (although the string was a bit nicer). JohnKR - Beeswax - *thumbs up* yes. Waxing Servings *thumbs down* no. No need as waxing is designed to keep the strands together (to an extent) - serving does that for you. Chris |

| On a personal note - I've gone back to using my 8125, I don't like this majesty stuff - if anyone wants any strings for a 68" bow I have 3 for sale ... all in black (£10 ono). Also trying out some 452X (think quite a few compounders use it)... anyone had a go with this on recurve? |

| I am happy with my Majesty strings from Roduk above. Better sightmarks than fastflight, better servings. I am using 18 strands and wonder if I could have 16 strands as the string is a little bulky and the strands do not bind as I do not use wax. Friction rubbing does not seem to bond the strings nd I do not wish to melt any strands. They work well in the heat, the cold and the rain. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
