| Has anyone noticed that stylist limbs seam to form an unusual curve in the power beam area, that is more pronounced than other limb manufacturers when they are fully drawn!

Stev Hallrd is always making new limbs so you may get new or used. As Stylisht mentioned we have had a couple of sets of limbs that were twisted - but they were replaced within 48 hours max. You wont go wrong getting Stylist to start off with.

| All rented bows that are used are completely refurbished before they go out again I believe - if you want a cheaper one I think they knock money off for scratched/marked risers. Or so I've heard. |

| Not sure if this is still the case but the Supreme and the Saphire used to be different quality base metal. The Supreme (and the original Stylist) was HE15 stretch plate aluminium (ie very high quality, better than any other riser I can think of). The Saphire was HE30 stetch plate aluminium (still as good as most top end risers) The Supreme also used to come with Titanium limb fixing and bushings. But all that info is tumbling out of my brain from 1995 so specs may have changed. I shot 1240+ with the Stylist and the Supreme and really loved it (especially the original Stylist - I still have 2 ) But back in the mid 90s the limbs could be very unreliable - suddenly losing performance for no reason, delaminations, finish issues, twists, nice limbs & nasty limbs - that's when I quit Stylist and bought a Hoyt (and then went through 5 risers in the next two years - doh. )If Stylist have sorted the limbs issue - it is as good as anything else I have ever shot and VERY good value for money - otherwise it us a good argument for renting HTH Stretch |

| That goes some way to explaining the difference in the riser, i guess the highish price is due to low volume production. Anyway, thanks for the advice everyone, i will ask these questions when i ring up soon.I think i will post the reply as well coz maybe someone else will be asking the same in the future. |

| Still is HE15, I was on a target with the guy that builds them over the summer and asked...

| I can echo that the Stylist is an excellent bow, I have had one since I started archery around 2 years ago now. I recently had a new set of limbs from them with harder foam in the core which are excellent. I would recommend the Stylist for any beginner / intermediate archer. Dave |
