I think the reason I've kept shooting (or kept coming back to shoot anyway!) is the simple fact that shooting an arrow in the gold only needs an arrow, a bow, a target and me. Everything else just helps the arrow go faster, the bow to be more stable etc. but doesn't guarantee a gold.

I used to love beating all the adults with their Hoyts, TD75's, summit sights, X7's, V bars, TFC's, carbon stabilisers etc.

A perfect shot just needs confidence - you can't buy that.

Enjoy the bow - I miss mine (in ways), but by the time I upgraded it it had been re-varnished (poor job by me), had numerous holes where I'd moved the sight mounts filled with wood filler and the limbs were twisted!!
