The Vegas (GNAS) round is a 3 40cm faces in triangular pattern. They are numbered and HAVE to be shot in the correct order with numbered arrows.

Scoring is same as FITA 18 - i.e. Compijnds INNER 10 only.

Rule 409 in Rules of Shooting explains all.

GNAS rounds are FITA 18 triangles.

Thanks for this information. The only thing that I'm still not sure of is, the pictures of Vegas faces in Quicks only seem to have a Gold, Red and a smaller Blue ring. Is this 40cm or a portion of a 40cm. And if arrrows are to be numbered, mine are numbered by Biro numbers on a fletch, is this aceptable?

Sorry about newbie type questions but I would hate to find out at a comp when I could look a little foolish.

Well, if you want to know about the GNAS round, WTF who knows.

Vegas means one thing to some and one thing to another but it seems a bit pointless practising the GNAS one, does anyone even hold a tournament with it?

That would be what the guy asked about in the first place?

And the point would be that it's a fun round - and if you're never going to get to go to Vegas to actually shoot it, you might as well shoot something that gets your handicap down?

Yes they are 40cm faces - for the FITA 18 (Triple) and Vegas you only get 10,9,8,7,6. There are other 40cm faces for single face FITA 18s which do have 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 scoring zones.

Thee are no 'x's in indoor rounds as far as I am aware...

Check with the judge re marking!
