That's pretty much a personal question based on what you like a riser to do...

I'd go for the Masters because I wasn't overly impressed with the Helix (in part due to it's weight, and since the Nexus is even lighter I'd likely hate it), and have always had my fingers sliced up by the fletchings on W&W bows. Can't say I like the look of the Masters that much either - I'd rather have an Agulla Ultra, but if it's got to be out of those three...

I too have been thinking about some new kit, and the Masters was top of whats out there for me, why? It has everything a bow needs to have and nothing it doesn't, the only thing off putting for me is the single plunger hole, not for tuning aplications but don't want to retire my expensive spiga gua rest.

Two requirements that a high-end (i.e. expensive) riser must have in order for "ME" to even consider buying it are: #1) stainless steel inserts for stabilizer(s) and back-weights; #2) A nice finish that will NOT chip from an unintentional bump or bang.

FWIW, the PSE 25" X-Factor doesn't meet my #1 requirement.

IIRC Samick risers have a painted finish and therefore won't meet my #2 requirement. (YMMV). - John

masters

iva shot a master riser for the last 18 months , and have no intention of shooting anything else, but it is a painted finish and it does chip but nothing a black marker pen cant hide ha ha . ant seen many around though, it attracts alot of attention at local comps. well worth a try though.

Boring I know but try before you buy and buy the riser that suits you best. The prices of top end risers means mistakes can be expensive.

Have you considered a Matrix. A lot of the good peeps on here use them and they're being discounted in price at the moment. I love mine.

The Helix is out of my budget...i've always liked the Masters, because it have a large grip, but i havent't already tried one, because there isn't one here in Portugal. The only one i've tried is the W&W Xpert NX, but i didn't like the grip, because it's to thin. And the Nexus, have a thin or a large grip? I've seen the Spigarelli Revolution, but some people say good things about it , others say bad things..
