Question Hoyt Matrix riser and W & W Winex Carbon Foam limbs

Does the combination of Hoyt Matrix riser and W & W Winex Carbon Foam limbs have material difference in lbrs (output) from the combination of Hoyt Matrix riser and G3 Limbs? (25'' riser and 68'' limbs)
Will there be a change in the string length with using the two above mentioned combinatons?

Yes, I think I'm right in saying W&W quote their limb weight plus 10% adjustment, Hoyt quote their limb weight plus OR MINUS 5%. In my experience 40lbs W&W limb will feel about the same as a 42lb Hoyt limbs, this has certainly been the case with my 36lb Synergy's and 38lb Hoyts, they both give me 41lbs on the fingers.

I understand that the point at which the limb weight is measured by the two manufacturers differs. I'm sure I've seen a post somewhere that said that the weights are measured with different limb bolt settings...I will try to find this info.

On the subject of the limbs, W&W state that the winex's give an extra 7fps over other brands, I guess this is true, but I haven't regretted the purchase for a moment.

I tried both, the G3s on a matrix and the winex's on my exfeel and preferred the winex's, they (to me) were crisper. That said, both are very good limbs and I'm sure you won't be disappointed with whichever you buy.

Different riser, same limbs. before buying my Winex limbs, I tried a pair of G3's for a Portsmouth. 40# as were my Winacts. They were easier to draw, felt good and nearly shot a pb. I bought the Winex at 42#, wound down the bolts to give me 43# on the fingers and there is really no looking back. The Hoyt's feel a bit heavier than the Winex in my Winact riser. Foam cored Borders feel so smooth and effortless ( well the 38# ones I tried did)

That's certainly my experience with my W&W Synerzys in a Hoyt GM. They are marked at 44# @28" and that's exactly what I get with the limb adjustment set at minimum. My old Hoyt limbs were at the marked poundage right in the middle of the limb adjustment range.

I used 34 lbs Hoyt Edges round right down to get as much as possible, and they felt heavier than my 40 lbs Winex limbs... I've also tried the G3 limbs, but to me they felt like drawing back a ton of bricks each time.
