Non-IF bows

What are people's experiences with recent bows that don't have Hoyt-style "international" limb fittings? Reason I ask is that I fancy a Stylist Supreme, but I'm a bit unsure about its non-IF fittings.

Is there much of a limb choice available? How long does it take to get a replacement limb?

RE: Non-IF bows

I have a Stylist on rent from Steve. I have just paid for my 4th 12 week hire block and have just received my third set of limbs. Whilst hiring you can change the limbs as often as you need to to get the weight you want. Costs about 6quid to post the ones you have back. Seems Steve has limbs made on a regular basis and I have dropped down a bit in weight from the first ones. The ones I have now came just after Easter and to get the weight I wanted to try meant Steve had to send me a used pair but they are in good nick. In 2 months time when I have to pay for the bow as I will keep it he said if thats the weight I want then he will send me a new pair. You can hire for 48weeks (4 blocks) and if you buy just pay the balance so thats £266 off the price when the time comes to pay up. I've been happy with the bow (swapped from GM with carbon limbs) and its one of the lightest machined risers available.

Give it a whirl... at least for 12 weeks ... shame more dealers can't hire you bows to try.

G.

RE: Non-IF bows

Thanks very much for the info! It sounds like Stylist is a really good company to deal with.
