As I recall it had a damper on it. You didn't dry shoot the bow but I still can't see it helping out very much. It would change too much from a 'normal' setup to be worthwhile I would think.

get a house with a big hallway The resale value would be better than an old computer program (if it exists)

Or.... Get a big garden, put a long polytunnel in it & shoot the length of that instead. Then use the computer for downloading... archery pictures & videos

How about rigging up a laser pointer on the riser shelf, then a remote trigger actuated by a micro switch on a formmaster. Then on a wall you can have a target face or a projection of one. Over small ranges the trajectory will not matter. Just need to work out how to record the hit! may be a video camera?? a sensor array would be cool but how easy to set up i dont know. There are Clay shoot laser simulators out there.

Don,nt want to appear a smart ####, but, have you ever used a reversal sling with two elbow bands. I suppose I have got it wrong and your reqirement is similar to computer golf. A large screen and you hit the ball at the screen and it registers a stroke, distance etc. As previous comments very dangerous if you use real arrows. Sorry about this reply buit had nothing to do for 10mins so thought I would add abit LOL

Not that it's exactly relevant but a computerised system is used on a commercial basis in the US. (for hunters in the off season).

The archer shoots arrows with blunt points at a projection screeen on which you have a video of some type of game. Sensors pick up the arrow flight and calculate where the arrow would have hit (or not)
