| I see many people using the £1.20 Hoyt Super Rest quite happily, sometimes with a button. One way of approaching it is: if it ain't broke... ![]() Personally I prefer the Arco Spigarelli ZT magnetic rest. Note that there are versions for different bows (mine's a W&W), so ensure you get the one that suits yours. There's also the Spigarelli Gua rest, which is a fully-adjustable version of the ZT, but it's triple the price. Some people modify the rest's flipper bar to remove the slight bend near the tip (reasoning that it will affect the arrow) - Needham's The Art of Repetition advocates this, IIRC - but as I have far more pressing things to worry about with my shooting I've left it be. My thinking is that if it is affecting the flight of my arrows, at least it'll be affecting them uniformly and consistently. My form on the other hand... At £12-15 I think the Spig ZT rest is good value. Here they are at the Quicks and Bowsports online shops.

| Thanks for taking the time to give me a reply - and for the links! Part of my concern is I want something thats strong and wont break through normal usage - I'm also thinking about the fact that depending on indoor or outdoor it will need to be adjusted for my arrows.... Again - Thanks ![]() |

| I use the cavalier wrap around magnetic rest (£20) Used it for six years with no problems, it has never come loose or broken. The main thing is to cut off the bent up bit at the end of the rest wire, as this just catches on the arrows, and is useless! Kae. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

| I currently use a Spigarelli Magnetic ZT rest, It is very easily adjustable, i use 2212 X7's indoors and 570 ACE's outdoors it takes me about a minute and two allen keys to change the rest to suit a different set of arrows. I would recommend it. I haven't straightened the bend out of the rest, although i have been told to do so many times my 'experienced' archers, why do people see this as necessary? surely the bend provides more fletching clearance if set up properly and a little more support for the arrow. Would Spig manufacture a bend in the rest if there wasn't a valid reason? |

| had to cut the bent end off mine as with my setup it was catching one of the fletchings on release even with everything else set up right wasnt affecting the flight directly i dont think but all my arrows ended up with strange little kinks in the middle of the fletching where it had been stretched on the way past by the bent bit - which presumably isnt ideal slainte

| I'm using the Cartel wrap over spigarelli copy and it sucks. The magnetic arm comes loose every shot and extends all the way out. Have had to adjust it each and every time I shoot 2-3 arrows. Bottom Line: Don't buy the cartel one. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

| Arco Spigarelli ZT magnetic rest. I use Fatboys and 610 Navigators. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Ditto ive shot all sorts from 1816 XX75s to 780 ACEs off mine, quick simple adjusment that DOES NOT MOVE, excellent | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

| £20-£30... 10-15 Hoyt super rests :->. I've put in a 560 portsmouth with mine shooting fat X7's, and Bowman scores with Skinny ACE's (620's, now for sale). I've broken..one. And to be fair to it, i've had it on 8 months and done *god knows* how many shots with it. The arm fell off when I was taking the riser out of it's bag.
