The question raised about the oldest club, may have a good read for anybody interested in the Archery UK. Winter 2006 edition starting on page 57.
I didn't know if it could have been copied and pasted if anyone wanted to read it.
Ref was made to Mr R. J. Dorling from Middlesex who was offering to collate Clubs and Dates if it was wished.

Wirral was founded in 1858.
Both Bath Archers (my club) and Cheltenham Archers were both founded in 1857 - we both recently celebrated our 150th Anniversary.

And whilst I know we are reportedly 'one of the oldest' clubs in the UK I dont think we are THE oldest

Fraternity of St George? Still extant, and the original company of archers might be regarded loosely as a club. Back then they didn't have leisure or free time. It was all about dirt, rickets, plague and a lack of mobile phones.
