Archery costumes , circa 1820-1885

A link to Manchester City Galleries: http://www.manchestergalleries.org/h...ollection.html,go to the" costume gallery" ,and put "archery" into the search engine. Result a rather nice ladies dress with 2 jackets circa 1820 , and a mans jacket and cap 1885, note the leather patch at the waist and the bracer integral with the jacket. Oh , and guess what colour they all are......might not be the right shade though! Doudt the ladies would please GNAS, Ho Hum

The ladies dress is mad. I vote that we picket GNAS for a rule change that all ladies should wear them

You know I'd prefer it in purple, black or any combination of the two. Salmon pink doesn't suit my colouring (badly drawn girl ).
