SAA site - new year, new look

For those scottish AIUKers who don't frequent the SAA site often (SHAME ON YOU!! ), this is just a heads up that we'v given the site a facelift for 2008.

Hopefully it will be just as easy as the old site to navigate, but it should be much easier to manage and maintain.

Scottish Archery Association

I'm not finished with it yet, but most of the major parts are done.

Enjoy!

That's a shame - you're the first person to have found it difficult to use, but thanks for being honest.

If you tell me what you want, I'd be happy to help.

Just for clarification, the coaching site is run by the coaches, not by the SAA so I can't talk about the SAA Coaching Website site particlarly but I can send your feedback to the creator.

We (the editors) have pleaded long and hard for information for the coaching section, but so far they have taken the approach to run their own thing, which is of course their right.

Having looked at the coaching site, and going to their contacts page, it does in fact have two contacts - the Regional Coaching Officers for development and education.

If you go back to the primary SAA website and go to the "contacts" page you will find every key contact within the SAA.

Hope that helps, but like I said, if it doesn't, get in touch with either MK1 or myself.

Tracy - in order to camp with your dog, you'll need to bring a dog... and... er ... a tent.

What more do you want to know?

If you're looking for campsites around Penicuik, then the organisers (Elayne/Norrie) should be able to help. Unfortunately it's only 40 minutes from my house, so camping is not really a requirement for me

You could always camp in our back garden if you like

I'm sure I could rig up the garden hose and you could fight the birds for the bacon scraps... Seriously though, I'm sure we could come to some arrangement! There's room for one four-man tent in the back garden! You'd have to talk nicely to Hazel to get the back bedroom as it's her Junk store

Never mind Murray, most if us are grateful that both you and Muriel put all the time and effort (unpaid) into the site that you do. I think the new site is easy to navigate and any alerts and things we should be aware of are obvious.

It's a vital part of everyone's archery in Scotland....they might post and chat on here , but they know where to go for the info that concerns their shooting etc.

Keep up the good work and my thanks to you both
