Do any of the forum members know if there is an archery club in Sterling, I have to visit for a few days in April and will have a bit of time to myself and would like to get a few ends in if I can wangle it????

There's Bannockburn Bowmen just outside Stirling. I don't have contact details but I'm sure Murray will.

Alternatively about 20 mins down the M9 there are Falkirk Company of Archers and Grange Archery Club.

I'm sure there is. I remember shooting last year in the five cornered match at a lovely (well it was when it wasn't raining) venue with beautiful scenery fairly close to the Wallace monument. May be wrong, but it might have been Bannockburn Archers. Anyway if you go to the SAA website I'm sure they will have a full list of Scottish clubs.

I love Terry Pratchet, whenever I'm feeling depressed (after comming second in a tournament for instance) I read a bit of Pratchet and feel much better.

the guy that did the website is no longer comes due to family ect
I shoot a Stirling a lot ,i can get info on sunday when i am there on a
outdoors Tuesday night 6.30 pm till dark
Friday about 6.30+ till dark
Indoors Tuesday night 8.00pm till 10.00
Stirling rugby club on at all times dont know when they go outdoors yet
i am a member of Falkirk Company of archers we shoot on a wednesday night indoor 730pm till 10.00 and saturday outdoors on 1st April not outdoor on wedneday night till late Apirl more info on web site
