Just did a google search for "stranraer archery club" (including the quotes) - third hit provides a phone number and name.

Its not a Club shoot its a County shoot and organiser will be Rona Mather.

I've been experiencing technical difficulties this weekend so the calendar hasn't been updated yet.

Linwood Sport centre archers are hosting the event. Luckly I am a member of this club and know where it is and it can be a bit of a hastle to find it but it is on any good map.

As to Joe Cowen of Ayr Archery club, we have not seen him at the club for some time and i dont think he will be organising any comps. this year.

Linwood is a couple of miles from Glasgow Airport, very near to the phoenix retail park in Paisley.

It is here in the top left of the screen the main road at the bottom is the M8 to Irvine road.

Sparkie
Does this mean that Ayr Archery Club will not be organising any Comps this year?

Nancy Downie's running one. If you keep an eye on the SAA calendar, as you were advised to do earlier in the thread (sorry if the font's too small, but there are ways to make it as big as you need - use firefox) you will get the details. All open events that are known about are on there, and the entry forms go up there when they become available.

I am sure the fita at linwood will be well run but for those who have been shooting long enough in scotland the mere mention of linwood causes shivers. Still if it is in july rather than the may weekend it always was it may be alright...... maybe....
