We went to the club to shoot this evening and discovered my better half had won the ladies compound!

I'm guessing you came third in the gents compound? I'm using my detective skills here, (think you were on the target next to me)
I came fifth in the ladies recurve.

I'm not sure,but I think I came forth.Well done to you.
Maybe we may have all done a little better if we wern't deafened by the two young guys with all the jingly medals hanging off their belts!!
I find it bizarre that we take part in a sport where the powers that be are more concerned by the colours we ware than the amount of noise we make.

Lol! I clearly remember making that same comment on the day. Maybe they were trying to intimidate us mere mortals with their amazing jingling belts

If I do another competition I think I will have a one man band outfit on.Maybe even a Harpo Marx bulb horn under my arm!Is there anything in the rules that says I can't?

Still think the belts might drown you out though

With any luck they will win loads more medals till they get to the point they won't be able to move!

yes I do agree the lad surely made it known that he had a few medals to his name.
but the most important to me was 1st mens compound. (well shuffed)
